The Grace Temple Baptist Church 100th Anniversary History Committee is asking members and friends to help us tell the story of our first 100 years in service to the Lord.
We want your memories of and prayers for the Church; your remembrances of our pastors and your dreams for the future of this branch of Zion.
We are asking anyone to share pictures or mementos from the little white church on Charleston Avenue, our ministries at work, our youth in service and of our pastors. Photographs will be copied and promptly returned.

A 40-minute DVD featuring oral histories by Sisters Gloria Reid, Teresa Epps, Laura Sheppard, Minister Judy Williams and her mother Mrs. Magnolia Lawson is available for sale for $15. Each offered rich details and wisdom about the life of the Church. Minister Williams and Mother Lawson told of Rev. J. Luke Jones' fiery preaching, spiritual counsel and good sense of humor. Proceeds from sales benefit the 100th Anniversary Celebration scheduled for Oct. 24. Order your copy right away.
